It was my first time photographing at a Christmas tree farm and I didn’t know what to expect. All I could think of was the scene from Lampoon’s Family Vacation when Clark Griswold took his family to cut down their “perfect” Christmas tree. hahaha! Love that movie! I had anticipated lots of families wandering about, with saws in hand, searching for their perfect holiday tree. Instead, I stumbled upon Hansen’s Tree Farm in Haverhill, MA. A very sweet, quaint tree farm that had not yet opened for the season. With permission (of course), Mr. Hansen gave me free rein to use his tree farm as a backdrop for my family portraits and I was beyond thrilled and very grateful!! Below are just a few of my favorites from our November mini-holiday sessions. I included my own kids’ portraits at the bottom because, really … they’re just too darn adorable not to share! :)
Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas and a very happy and healthy New Year!!
