Sweet. That’s the word that comes to mind when I think of Colleen and Kevin. Not to sound cliché but they are truly the sweetest couple I’ve ever met and I couldn’t wait to capture their special day. Colleen and Kevin decided on a first look at a small nearby park in Charlestown. If you’re not familiar with Charlestown (knowing The Town was filmed/based there does not count), you should be. It’s so rich in history and it has tons of character along its quaint, narrow streets. The historical Bunker Hill Monument provided a perfect backdrop for our formal photos prior to Colleen and Kevin’s “I do’s” at one of greatest masterpieces of church architecture, St. Mary’s church. I’ve visited the Aquarium many times with my kids, but I had not photographed a wedding there so I was super excited for this new experience. The reception tent was elegantly decorated with vibrant floral arrangements from Beautiful Blooms in their wedding color scheme of coral, cream and grey. With stunning views of the Boston skyline, guests ate, drank and danced all night to the amazing sounds of the band – Groovin’ You. If you’re familiar with this past season of NBC’s The Voice, you may recognize the female singer, Grey. She was on Team Adam and made it all the way to the top 20! Thank you, Colleen and Kevin for letting me be a part of all the love and sweetness that was your wedding day. You guys are awesome!
