Kate & Nick | Backyard, Rustic Woodstock, Vermont Wedding

As a successful wedding photographer herself, I was so honored Kate had reached out to me to photograph her summer wedding. It was truly an amazing day — big blue sky coupled with Woodstock, Vermont quaint setting provided the ultimate backdrop for their big day. Kate and Nick opted for a First Look at a nearby farm. The farm was spectacular with many beautiful spots to photograph. It was a photographer’s dream! I mean, it’s not every day that I have chickens photobombing my wedding portraits! ha! The ceremony and celebration took place at Kate’s parents home. They did not miss a beat with all the gorgeous, rustic details of this backyard wedding. Very Pinterest worthy! For the ceremony, family and close friends were seated on covered hay bales as Kate’s brother officiated the special ceremony under a beautiful fresh flower, bark arbor that Kate’s Dad and Nick built.
